Good Stand Overall Feb 08, 2010 This stand is very fun to play guitar and sing at the same time. Now when I play guitar, I find it weird not singing, it seems like they go hand in hand now. Its fun. Havent tried druming and singing at the same time, but it looks like it would be able to handle it no problem. Comes with the clips for controllers (one for each wii, ps3, xbox360). Clips are plastic, but handles them very nice, and no worries about falling off or uncliping. The stand is very sturdy, Ive hit it a couple times with the guitar (too much into the song) and it still stands perfectly straight and no dents. The stand is adjustable for practically all heights (probably 2'6"' to 6'6") The mic is put in place through a clamp and wont accidently slip off while playing. The only thing against it, is where the clamp part screws into the neck of the stand, it doesnt have a lot of threads, so if you overtighten or undertighten it will be a little loose. This is a bit annoying, but once you get it right, just dont tighten anymore, and it will stay in place. Overall, very fun, and built pretty good. Worth the money. Amazon, made it easy to buy, and shipped very well.
Universal mircrophone Feb 01, 2010 The kids love this stand. Although sometimes it's hard to pull up and down.

Great Mic Stand Jan 27, 2010 I couldn't have asked for more for the price...
Heavy enough not to wobble. Small footprint. Controller holders (1 for each of 3 console type controllers) if you need 'em. Good quality mic and stand parts. Clip to hold wire on stand near the bottom.
When we set up to play our new band hero game (Wii), my wife had one complaint: because you have to pinch the mic holder to open it and put the mic in, it takes two hands to put in and take out. She says she likes the kind where you can just align the wire and slide it in or whatever... but I like the clip - secure and easy to use (if you're willing to put the extra effort and use two hands!).
need work, but works for me Jan 20, 2010 its what i wanted, a mic stand that works. the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it comes with 3 different control clips. if anyone has a 360 controller clip i am willing to trade one of my other system clips for it.
The microphone clip makes this product worthless Jan 15, 2010 I purchased this product last year. I like to play guitar and sing at the same time in Rockband, and it worked excellently for that. The microphone stayed in the clip most of the time, and was rarely removed. The clip only lasted two months. It is a cheap plastic product made up of two plastic pieces and a large spring. Once it breaks it is difficult to find a replacement. Mic holders at your local music store are not compatible with this product because the stand is made of metal tubes that are smaller than regular mic stands. I replaced this product with just a basic mic stand with a rubber slide in/out holder for just $5 more. It is heavy duty and can't break, and has now lasted over 14 months and will last as long as I want to keep it around.
