 Don't Compare it to Goldeneye Nov 25, 1999
I have played the original Goldeneye many times, and I love it, and then I played the new Tomorrow Never Dies on playstation. The main thing that I kept in mind going into testing out the game was to not compare the original Goldeneye to the new game. This is because the first game was a masterpiece (i.e multi-player) and the second game is great, but on a different level. If you compare the two games, you probably will not like the new game. BUT, if you have an open mind, you will love this new installment. I HIGHLY recommend it to any one willing to try it!

Dispite what the editorial review says there is no 2 player option. And thats a real shame because that would be the main reason why i would buy a game like this. Go to the manufacturer sight and see for yourself. Its a fun game for 1 person but dont buy it thinking that it has multiplayer casue it dosnt

worth the wait Nov 30, 1999
this game is as good it is hyped up to be. it captures the true feeling of the bond movies much better then Goldeneye. it is far more then a shooter, and is very unique with its drving/sking/recon/shooting/puzzle solving/actual footage from the movie. This game is great, and it makes the gamer feel like they are BOND.

 EA should have done better with the Bond license Dec 25, 1999
I buy just about every action game that comes out for the Playstation and I have to say I was very disappointed with this one. The reason I bought the game is that I liked the whole idea of a third-person action adventure featuring Bond doing a variety of things: shooting, skiing, driving, etc. It sounded like a really great package. Unfortunately, the game is plagued with first-generation graphics, a choppy framerate, sloppy control, extremely easy missions, and very limited environments. About the best thing I can say for it is that it does include some cool Bond gadgets, a great intro, and good cut scenes between missions. The game is so short that it is only worthy as a rental. In fact, without a strategy guide, it can be beaten in a mere 5-7 hours. If you want to experience great mission-based games with some depth, go for Syphon Filter or Metal Gear Solid. Bond deserves much better than this! Electronic Arts, you blew it!

 007 never dies Dec 06, 1999
I was really looking foward to the release of TND and suffice it to say I was not let down. The game is quite fun although it is very short. The main problems with the game is the lack of control. The designers should have put a quick turn button as there are many situations that call for such an action. Also you have to position Bond right on top of a lock, switch, etc... before he will activate the device. Besides the minor control problems the graphics and sound are excellent and the FMV's are from the movie. Another nice feature is the ability to save the game right after the completion of a mission, so you can play for a half-hour and shut it off. While the game is not on the level or length of Metal Gear or Syphon Filter it is still alot of fun to play and is a must for the Bond enthusiast.
