Black Remote for the Slim PSP Aug 04, 2008
By Edward Mckinnon
"Bankrupt Pit !"
Remote Control + Stereo Headset for Sony PSP, Black
If you need a cheap remote for the new PSP Slim; this is the one for you. It's slightly smaller that the original Sony PSP Remote but functions the same. I do not recommend the headphones that come with the system but you can use you own and plug them right in the system. It also has a hold button on the remote to prevent you from accidently fast fowarding or rewinding by bumping the remote. I would recommend this for a cheap replacement!
Other than the headphones, it gives the bang for your buck. Oct 03, 2011
By JD The item consited of the remote control part and a pair of headphones to attach to it. The remote works as it should. It looks a bit plastic, but it does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Furthermore, it is designed to attach any pair of headphones with a standard minijack.
The headphones look cheaply made and I cannot tell more than that because they NEVER worked. They were a dud.
I didn't complain because it was the remote I wanted and even with a pair of useless headphones, the price is still fair.
Terrible. Feb 20, 2011
By theshonen8899 First of all, the first time I used it the clip broke right off. I don't think I was using it anyway it wasn't meant to be used, I just clipped it on my coat on and rode the bus listening to music on my PSP. Clip broke right off.
That wouldn't be a problem with there were some other redeeming qualities, but its generally crap. It looks quite nice, black and silver and shiny, but it's made of cheap plastic. The buttons were not designed well, it is difficult to raise the volume (especially with the clip broken off) because the way the button was designed for volume+ is very different from the other ones so it's pretty weird. You have to see it to understand, and I recommend you just not see it at all.
I would be more tempted to buy this if the remote was for PSP Go, I could slip that easily into my pocket and forget about it while controlling it with the remote. Unfortunately not only do I have to deal with the big PSP, but I also have to deal with a crappy remote. Overall not only do I recommend you to steer clear of this remote, I recommend you stay away from using the PSP as a MP3 player overall. Get a cheap Sandisk Sansa e250 and a micro SD card as a MP3 player. Then you can move the micro SD card to the PSP with an adapter and keep all your music and video games in one neat card.

satisfactory May 13, 2008
By Gigi Excellent I am satisfied with this stereo headset. Easily controllable with a remote and fits your ears comfortable. Sometimes it's gonna be annoying while I was playing my PSP in some public areas. I wouldnt need to concern of the loud sound now, as I got an earphones with me.
