Let me just say this backpack certainly gets the job done: its got a front pocket (the smallest), a middle, and then the biggest slot where your precious goes. On top of that there are two side net pockets where you can stick the power and HDMI (or AV) cords into.
Me, I use the backpack to the fullest of its abilities by sticking 2 charge cables on the bottom of either the front or middle slot, then I stick 4 controllers (yeah 4) into the front pocket with a 3 foot HDMI cable on top of them (the front pocket also has a latch clip), then I stick 6 games (2 sets of 3 back to back) on the bottom with 7th in front of them, then I stick another 3 or 4 games on their side on top of them (if they were all blu-rays you can slip in more). Slip your ps3 into the biggest slot, flip the flap closed and with a little effort you can still latch the big clip. Call me crazy for doing so, but if I can do that, then you can certainly do anything less at your hearts desire.
The velcro padding keeps your ps3 very well snug and protected, although the only downside is that it stratches it (although you practically only see it up close) which is why I give it 4 stars. Seeing something you paid half a grand for scratched is kind of a turn off for me personally.
But if that doesn't bother ya to much then this is definetly the case for you.
On a side note: I've been sticking (I guess the proper term is cramming) all those items into this backpack over and over for more than a year now and still every one of those items are in tip top shape.

I am so happy I purchased this PS3 backpak! I am able to very easily carry my PS3 console, 2 CONTROLLERS, PS3 Remote, and an HDMI cable - fits nice and neat, and traveling through TSA security at airports was a breeze.
If you like carrying your PS3 from place to place THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!!

This PS3 case did not disappoint - great design and construction! Purchased for a trip, the backpack case lived up to the reviews - enough room for all items and arrived with everything undamaged. Only design recommendation is to have a velcro flap to cover the PS3 logo, just in case you don't want to draw any unwanted attention to your game system. After all, you are traveling ...

Great carrying case for going to friends Apr 10, 2010

Thought I reviewed this case when I purchased it about 1 1/2 years ago, but guess I didn't. I still use this case once in a while to game with friends or when someone I know buys a HDTV and wants to watch a Blu-Ray. I'm a big gamer and still love my PS3 "phat", but I'm not a young kid anymore and neither are my friends in my circle, so I usually bring it over once in a while when time permits. Lots of pockets and storage for controllers, cables, couple of games and of course, the console itself. Love that the pocket for the console is padded and lined to preserve it from scratching up. Having the phat model, it is a touch heavy when loaded up on your back, but the carry handle on the top is just fine despite looking like it's not heavy duty enough. Highly recommend if you too have to move your PS3 around.

I got this for my son since he wants to have his PS3 at both my house and his dad's. Its very durable and protects the console pretty well. Lots of compartments for keeping the controllers and wires in order. I only gave 4 stars because it is limited on how many games you can carry but otherwise a great purchase.
