Not worth the money Jan 20, 2006

I was looking for a controller that can be recharged. Well, I guess this controller does this....technically. The biggest problem I have is with the buttons. Unlike other controllers where just tapping the X, 0, tri, or squ, R1/2, and L1/2 would register the input. With this controller, you almost have to literally jam the buttons. Needless to say, great idea, bad product. I would recommend a do not buy.

Numb Fingers Mar 02, 2006
By P. Gaffney Bad, very bad. My fingers were numb within 5 minutes because the buttons are so hard to press. Also, the battery compartment sticks out underneath, making it uncomfortable to hold. Ended up with the Logitech PS2 Cordless Action Controller, which has beautifully responsive buttons and a great feel (but get the newest, smaller one - it has blue stalks on the joysticks).

Not great, and then it broke. May 16, 2006

I had the controller for 4 months. The X button (gas pedal in driving games) took excessive force, like others reviews have noted. My thumb fell asleep in 15 minutes. After 4 months, it start acting erratic. Soon after that, it started firing an up and down input from the d-pad almost continuously. I could not find a fix.

Great idea, lousy product. Jan 05, 2006
By asrai I really wanted to like this product. I thought the rechargeable transmitting controler was a brilliant idea and have to wonder why this is the only brand that offers it. However, my problem wasn't with the recharge features, but with the controller itself, its performance, and ultimately, its failure.
First, the controller design doesn't allow for comfortable multiple button combinations that some game require. It's just awkward, is the best way to put it. Maybe I'm just too used to the standard controller, but I just couldn't get this thing to "feel" right.
Secondly, the buttons needed to be pressed so hard to activate, that finger cramping would occur in very short order. Not only did they not seem to respond when pressed, they also didn't feel very smooth. Now, I'm not sure if this is a function of lag from the controller to the receiver, or that the connections within the controller weren't making properly; all I know is that I really had to lay into the buttons to get a response... not a great issue to have to deal with when playing fast paced games.
Thirdly and finally, after less than a week, the control simply quit. It wouldn't power up, connect with the receiver, or respond in any way, shape, or form.
So, this thing is on its way back. I should have went with (and will be ordering) the Logitech wireless that my nephews have and really love... no apparent problems there.

Do not buy or look at! Jan 08, 2006

I have to 100% agree! I absolutely hate this thing! When i first got it, i plugged it in and it didnt even work. Brand new and it didnt work!! bs!! At first i thought is was the ps2, then i found out is was the controller itself. So i messed with it and got it to work....until it started bugging out! It is sortof playable but if you dont mind the bugging, uncomfertableness, hard to push buttons, and the lag then yeah this is right for you...... just kidding it sucks.
