Loved it, Great Feb 15, 2007
By ksingh I'm not sure if it is the most accurate, but for the price, it is well worth it. I have a problem settin up two of them, It has switches to use "Nor (i think normal), Gun1, Gun2, and also "Nor, Ar Af" though on any setting in didn't notice anyhting. Theres a button on the bottom which i haven't used, but i think its another button to reload on time crisis. You can use A, B for ducking or the directional on the back for one hand play. The only problem i had which is with any light gun is that you really can move ( a little is ok, but if you want to lay down and shoot from a different angle from you were before) but moving back a little to the side did not make a difference.

Alright, as a PS2 Light Gun user you have to deal with alot of shoddy products. Especially, the official Namco Guncon 2 which has a terrible plastic trigger that snaps under pressure. The Freeshot LightBlaster on the other hand does not have that problem. The trigger is a solid assembly. It's firm and does not feel flimsy or loose and since it's made by Pelican not MADKATZ or Interact, I have faith in the survivablity of the gun.
The design of the gun is exactly as it looks in the photo.
So far, the only problems encountered are. 1. The length of the A/V connector cable. It is excessively short. But this can be easily remedied if you have extenders or the original GunCon2 connector cable.
2. The position of the start/ select buttons are a bit too close to the d-pad. It's a small issue that requires getting used to.
In closing, I have add one more thing: The Color of the Gun. I do not hold this against the gun , the maker or the seller. It's just that it has the off-chance risk of being mistaken for a real gun at a distance. Like all Guncons, don't point them at people in the street. From a distance a person may not be able to make out the orange toy color on the barrel and the fact that it is wireless adds to that even more.
Just don't do anything stupid like point it at a cop or pretend it's the wildwest and the LightBlaster is your Six-shooter and it should last a good amount of time.
Great deal Sep 27, 2011
By gumer For years I had been wanting a light gun.And I decided it was about time for one.Even though the shipping was a bit to much I decided to get it.The gun arrived four days later with no problem. The gun works great.Even though some say the sights are a bit off I thought they were good. The only problem I have with it is the digital pad on the back.I definitely do not recommend a long play time with a game that needs it.The pad is kind of hard and can make your thumb sore.I found myself switching between hand often because of this.If your only getting this for one or two games I recommend you wait for a price drop around ten dollars. In my case it cost me sixteen buck with taxes included, and I am planing on getting as many if not all the light gun games I can.But overall it is not a bad gun.Just remember you need a tube TV or it will not work
Great Product Apr 07, 2011
By TeeDee Fast shipping. The guns really worked. It was hard trying to do two players because the wires were kind of small but i managed to make it work, but overall i love playing the game with the gun. Its a great product and worth the amount it cost.!

Great lightgun for little money Dec 23, 2008
By BH I picked up a pair of these for $5 each from a reseller on Amazon, they work well with PS one and PS2 games in the guncon 1/2 modes, with point blank, area 51, time crisis 1/2 etc. The wireless receivers RCA connection for a TV is a through connector allowing use of multiple sets of guns eg two player point blank. There is also a USB connection so you should be able to use these guns on a PC running MAME or any emulator, of course you would need to use a compatible display (i.e. not LCD), but all the hardware works. Autofire and auto reload work fine but you need to pay attention to the games config, eg older games in which you point the gun away from the screen to effect the reload.
