 PS2 Logitech headset Mar 16, 2010
I got this headset over 4 years ago at a Wal-mart on clearance for $12.00. I thought I'd use it for my ps2 but didn't get around to it. I instead found out that it was pc compatible and have been using it for my computers sound ever since. Now as for quality, it did have a few swivel problems (which were fixed via a rubber band and has not been an issue since) as far as sound though, its pretty good considering its price range. Just recently however it took a turn for the worse and died out on me. Still 4 years of pretty heavy use is pretty good for a cheap mid range headset IMHO. Only regret is that I didn't get two.

Unless it varies by the seller, the headset I purchased was the Logitech Playstation 2 USB headset. So far, this was a great headset for use on the PC as well as Playstation 3.
The headset looks rather thin so I'm a little concerned on how it'll hold up over time. The earpiece swivels so you can adjust the boom, but I don't care for the amount of pressure it exerts against my ear.
Voice quality on the mic is great and since it's USB, it makes for a low cost and nice sound quality headset for use on the PC and Playstation 3. I tested the headset by popping in Killzone 2 and cranking up the TV speakers. While the gunshots and explosions burst from the speakers, the microphone didn't pick up any of it.
I wanted to find an alternative to using my regular bluetooth headset for the Playstation 3 and this is it. While the way it presses against my ear isn't too comfortable, the mic quality is good enough that I don't mind wearing it around my neck instead of on my head while having the voice output coming through the TV speakers. I just hope the headset holds up and doesn't break on me.
Now I don't think I'll have to worry about every slight noise in the house that used to be picked up and broadcast to everybody else in the game with the bluetooth headset.

I use this headset for absolutely everything I do. Playing PS3 online, talking with friends via webcam, even recording some home demos of my guitar/vocals. I've had this headset since 2005 and have never had a problem out of it. The mute button is a great feature, especially if you (like me) play Rock Band online and don't want the constant thumping/clicking heard in the middle of a song. I recommend this headset to anyone, because it works for everything!

Great product at a great price. I use this for PC online gaming and it interfaces perfectly. I am able to listen to music over my PC speakers and voice chat with the headset at the same time, very handy!
