 A Complete DVD Experience with Your PS2 Jan 29, 2010
I am one of those people who, because is a mommy to a PS2, don't feel the need to buy a DVD player. Owning the PS2 DVD remote allows you to enjoy your PS2 like you would a DVD player. The remote is robust - all the features you would expect a DVD remote would have are integrated to it. Had no troubles with the IR connection like most people are complaining about and it requires no setup; just pop in the batteries and you're good to go. It's light, it fits nicely in your hand, and is just plain awesome.

This remote works very well with the PS2 when playing DVDs. It provides a good Sony experience.

 Best parter for HDL Apr 09, 2009
This is a best parter for 5xxxx series, if you own a set of HDL and a wireless game controller - why? because you can reboot your ps2/change your game from your sofa - without touching your console directly.
Someone may be confused. but just enjoy if you know what I said.
However I purchased one not from Amazon, so don't know the compatibility that Amazon is selling

I don't like to have many devices each one for a specific task so, I use my lovely PS2 as a DVD player also. I was bored playing my movies with the Dualshock controller so I decided to give it a try. This works like a charm and what's best is that it's a real remote control, in other words, it's wireless and have all the functions that the PS2 is capable of with movies DVD's.
