 Performs as it should Sep 26, 2000

This memory card performs as it should - without problems. Although I have heard from other sources that 3rd party (non-Sony) peripherals for the Playstation have lower quality, I haven't noticed any evidence of such from this memory card. The price is competitive and I would recommend this product as an alternative to a Sony-branded memory card.

So many aftermarket products don't live up to expectation, this one does. I have a PlayStation 2 and found out after playing Final Fantasy X, that I could not save my old favorites, FFVII, FFIX. I have played with the Sony model and the Pelican model and I see no difference. Never lost a game. This is a great portable memory card as well, due to convenient carrying case that provides dust and lint-free (we all carry it to our friends house in our pocket or the car seat) protection. One of the best non-Sony products for PS. ***Note: This card saves only PS1 games! The PS2 card saves only PS2 games! But it will work on either machine.***The reviewer is author of: Amber Spirit: Poems & Stories (Hats Off Books, 2001) and a frequent magazine contributor & short story contest judge.

Quick delivery but price is deceiving Sep 11, 2010

My kid wanted this so I got it. The price seemed really good but after going to checkout, the shipping / handling was just as much as the product. Overall the product works and my kid is happy. That's why I gave it 4 stars.
