A must for gamers Jan 31, 2010

This was such a great buy. I've used it for so long that, even now, with the screen all scratched, I still use it.
It's comfortable, light, sturdy, and it does give you a better experience with your PSP.
It's a pity I can't find it for my PSP 3000, specially because the PSP is so light and thin that it would actually give me the perfect grip.
Highly recommended if you have a PSP 1000/Phat
One bad side: You have to take a really good care about the plastic, so it will last longer without scratches.

Great buy!!! Sep 26, 2007

The grips enable a firm grip during rapid game play. The price is nice and the grips do not interfere with the ports that you need to both hear the speakers or plug in items. ANd if you need to open it and take the game out of the casing, it is quick and easy. I use the neck cord condensed for a wrist cord so that I don't drop the game during street fighter battles. The only thing I reccomend, the case scratches far too easily. Buy screen protector sheets. One for your game and one for the clear part of the case. I did that as a cautionary measure and it was well worth my money to do that.
Not Bad But Cheap Plastic... Treat Well. Sep 20, 2010

The case was a godsend when I decided to finally get a PSP. And it was cheap, only $5 when I found it at a Best Buy. The clear case got scratched very easily but the grips more than made up for the screen cover scratching (better that than my PSP).
Unfortunately, the thing is a little flimsy and not put together very well. The construction depends upon the hinges of the case and the cover. The plastic is so thin that eventually one of them will break and completely compromise the integrity of the case. If one of those goes, the entire case is useless. You can't repair it either because the connection between both hinges and the cover pulls the case together in such a way that snugly fits the PSP into the case. Without that connection, the rest of the case slightly spreads apart and causes the PSP to just fall out. Unless you are willing to permanently adhere the grips to your PSP, you have to buy a new one.
For the price, it wasn't bad and certainly did what it promised. However, I wouldn't buy it for more than $10 given its cheap construction.
PSP Grip Case a Gamers dream. Oct 07, 2007
By T. Lowe I purchased the PSP Swing-Out Grip Case for my son after he tried numerous gaming cases for the Sony PSP platform. He was pleasently surprised at the balance and control that it allowed him. The only downside was the case doesn't provide UMD diskette storage, otherwise you are getting an excellent product for your money.

This case is great! If you play games for awhile and your hand cramp from holding your psp, this is for you. It is comfortable and also protects your psp.
