 Must have sleeve for PS3 controller Feb 17, 2010

I bought one of these sleeves a year or so ago at a local store. I can't find them anymore. Lucky to find them here and cheaper than before. This silicone sleeve has grips and gives the controller a whole new feel. No more slipping in your hands plus it is protected. I feel "naked" if I use a controller without one now. Well worth the price to me and I don't want to ever go back to a "bare" controller. Love it!!

I purchased two of these to protect my PS3 controllers. They are not as nice of a custom fit as I would have liked! There is a flap on the outside edge of the L2 and R2 buttons that is very annoying. Also, when I pulled these off to return them they ripped very easily. I do not recommend purchasing this product. If you want a controller sleeve get the ones officially licensed by Playstation. They are a much better product!

I really gave this a shot over weeks, and I really like the texture on this, but the silicone surrounding the sticks interferes with the complete range of motion, albeit slightly, but very annoying. Decided to chop off the grips area themselves, and permanently epoxy glue the textured area to the controller. Inelegant, but works better. I have found after using a variety of these products from different manufacturers that they all restrict full movement, and impede quick responses on the shoulder buttons. Last time I will invest in any of these, good idea, just cheap implementation.

I ordered this product at the same time I ordered a Red Silicone Skin also available on Amazon. Although this product is functional, I have no doubt that the red skin I ordered is a higher quality product and fits the controller better. When I placed my order, I ordered on of each because I was unsure which I would like better. If I could do it over I would order two of the red skins because I like it that much more.

I liked the concept of never loosing grip on the controller, but the fit isnt really as snug as i would like it to be. On the start and select button the skin doesnt fit really that tight and i cant use my charging dock when i have this skin on wish is kind of a pain. But other than that the idea is good and keeps my hands from makign the controller slippery after getting in a heated battle. overall i give it a 3
