Good adapter Jul 20, 2010
I don't have any problems with this, it works great with my PS3. Granted I haven't used it with third party controllers like guitar hero, but I know it does everything it advertised with first party ones.

Don't waste your money. I bought one off a seller here 1st one functioned one out of every 10 times I tried to use it even then it took ten minutes worth of fiddling with it to get it to work. (this is with multiple PS2 controllers). Just received a second one from the seller today guess what Does not function at all. I don't know if it's bad luck or just crap. 2 adapters 1 barely works the other DOA.

I just wanted to write this review to let everyone know that this adapter DOES WORK with dance pads. I had picked up High School Musical 3 Dance for PS2 on mega clearance. I have a 60GB PS3 that is compatible with PS2 games, but when I got the High School Musical Dance game home and tried to set it up I realized that I had no way to connect the dance pad. I ordered this item on Amazon from Eforcity and it works perfectly. I don't know if it matters or not, but if you are getting this for use with a PS2 dance pad on a PS3 I would suggest you choose Eforcity as your seller. Also, I don't know if this matters, but I always use USB port 1. I can do everything on the PS3 using the dance pad with this adapter. Works perfect!!

Turned my old PSX/PS2 mini fightstick into a PS3 compatible fight stick. The only things I'm missing is force feedback and a "Home" button...but that's my fightstick's fault. Response times for Super Street Fighter IV seem pretty good, because I can still pull off the few combos I know (I'm not great yet haha so I can't comment as if I played with crazy tournament worthy skills). Worth the $$ since it wasn't very much at all!
