This guitar works pretty good. The only complaint that I have is that sometimes it has trouble connecting, but I try again and it will connect up.

The guitar is not for small kids. It's a little fragile but it's a very nice guitar. I've had no problems with it. It connected right away. The whammy bar needs a little getting used to, it's a little different than "Guitar Hero" Brand. but it's my favorite guitar so far. The shipping was fast. I'm very happy with it. The price is great too.

I am a fan of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games for Xbox 360. I bought this guitar because I recently purchased GH rocks the 80's and it is only avail for PS2. Since I will only use this guitar for one game, it's not that bad. The price was right and it works ok, although the star power tilt does not work at all (I've noticed other reviews complaining about this too), I have to use the select button to activate it. If I were going to use this guitar for more games I would have a problem with it, but since it will only get moderate use, it'll do just fine.

New right out of the box, this controller was pretty clearly defective. The whammy bar feels like it has no spring attached to it, so it doesn't have any resistance - it works fine in terms of bending notes, but you've got to actually hold it in your hand, because once you push it down, it will not return to its neutral position - you have to pull it back up. Perhaps most annoyingly, the strum bar will not, under any circumstances, register an up-strum. Down works fine, but no up - which is how my wife strums all the time, so she basically can't use this controller. Lastly, star power will not activate, no matter how far you tilt it. I was shaking the damn thing around, and turning it through 360 degrees, but it would not activate. At least all the fret buttons are correctly wired, which seems to be a (rather bizarre) problem some other reviewers are having. Anyway, it's a horrible broken junk pile, and the 7 year warranty isn't worth crap, because React doesn't have a website anymore, and won't return calls.

When we received the guitar we put it away for a birthday so when the day came to give the guitar we found out the the yellow and blue buttons were switched and was unable to play along with the game. This also kept us from returning the guitar because the 30 days were already passed.
