Great Product! Dec 06, 2007
By H. Kennedy These work perfectly! I ordered them just HOPING they would work to fix 2 broken games, but with a certain degree of skepticism.
Nothing could be that easy to use, right? WRONG! They're even easier!
I fixed both games in less than 5 minutes, and they work like new. Thanks, MMR!

Great Cases. Jun 30, 2010
By Aksel The cases work great. They are simple and clean, no damage to the ones I received.
On a side note to whoever mentioned that the cases pull apart very easily when removing them from boxes... They must not be removing them how you are supposed to. You are supposed to push on either the left or the right side of the UMD (lightly) so that the other side pops up. If you do it correctly there is no opportunity to pull the case apart.

I got a cheap copy Mar 25, 2011
By Alan Banks I ordered this 3 pack replacement case from DigitalGamers. Not to bring DigitalGamers down or anything, but I got a 3 pack UMD replacement case that was like a piece of crap. It might have been from a chinese copy, as with everything else with electronics that you have to be wary of, from resellers on Amazon. When I took the UMD disc out of the case it was originally in and put it in the replacement case that I ordered, the sides of the case wouldn't snap shut. So I ended up having a UMD case that uneven and wobbled. I didn't even try putting that into my PSP, for fear that it would mess it up. I tried snapping the case together, it wouldn't snap in certain places.
What I did was email my problem straight to the MMR manufacturer, because I thought I had a genuine MMR case. He told me that it was a copy of their product and sent me a couple cases free directly from them. I got them in the mail, tried them, and they work. The ones I received from DigitalGamers comprised of two seperate clear pieces that you snap together. The ones I got from the manufacturer was a single UMD case piece with you just opening the top of the case and sliding the disc in, and closing it. So I tried this with two games, they now work perfectly. The first time I put the UMD in the manufacturer's case I pushed hard on the the top to seal it, put it in the PSP and tried it. It made some hard reading noises. So I took the thing out and this time opened the top up with my fingers, as there's a place of the side the case with a slim arrow where you open it up with your fingers (the first time I opened it up with a knife, not knowing how to open it). This time I made sure the top was sealed all over, shook the UMD to make sure the disc inside was loose so it could spin easily inside, and put it in and it worked flawlessly, with no loud reading sounds. I guess you have to make sure the case is even on the top and sides and make sure the disc inside is loose.
I recommend checking out the Multimedia Recovery manufacturer website for cases if you can't find a reputable reseller here that sells cases directly from the manufacturer. The genuine MMR cases are a lot better than the copies. They actually fit together. So this was my experience.
