 Kingdom Hearts strategy guide Feb 06, 2010
The book arrived as agreed and in good condition as described. This strategy guide was for my son and he believes it was an invaluable tool for playing Kingdom Hearts video game.

Set up a little bit differently from the 1st guide book for Kingdom Hearts 1, but still as informative and helpful in accomplishing everything possible within the game.

Well, long, and the bosses are difficult, especially the organization. It can also be a bit hard to figure out where to go.
I recommend this guide, I can't beat the game without it. It also has fun tidbits.
Little Substance, Otherwise Great May 09, 2009
The KHII Strategy guide has an extensive bestiary and contains many facts about all the equippable items that most people never knew. It makes great reading, even if you're not reading it in the middle of a game.
That said, the guide has only a small part of... well, guidelines. The book can tell you exactly how to counter a mean enemy's worst attack, but in an effort to contain "spoiler free" content, most of the guide is lost. More than once I was looking for a boss, but could not find him because, instead of the guide saying "this boss is at the Valley, near the Shrine" it says "This boss can be found after leaving the world". Not helpful. Plus, most gamers' favorite cut-scenes will not be found in this book. One more con is that Bradygames, unlike it's Prima rivals, it has few ares of humor.
In my opinion, 3.5. It is a good read to pass time, but using it to play the game (what a strategy guide is meant to do) can be difficult at times.
 Enough To Get You Through Dec 17, 2008
This book will no doubt help you get through the game, but it has terrible orginization, such as character bios being scattered throughout the walkthrough. All mini game information is also scattered, some being several pages after where the mini game originally appeared. The major downfall to this book is that it will not tell you where items or maps are. You're left to explore all that for yourself, so hopefully you've played the first and know to explore, explore, explore. Other than that, the actual walkthrough part is alright and there is good information and level up charts for the characters and forms.
