If you want all the secrets, spells, hidden areas reaveled, and side quest info. It is in this book. The only thing missing is a world map showing the town names(no big loss), does not spoil the storyline. If you need to find every item it is listed and categorized. exellent.

I'm an absolute FF6 fanatic so I was kind of disappointed that there wasn't more space devoted to character stats, lists or town information (for either game). For FFV it'll certainly get you through the game if you're stuck, but the maps could've been better and I found quite a few things not mentioned in the book (which could be a good thing). However, if you're as stuck as I was at that point, any help is greatly appreciated! As for FF6, I thought the information was rather skimpy and bare bones, but if you're new to the game it'll help you out. If you're searching for a better guide for FF6 I'd suggest searching around for the Nintendo Power FFIII player's guide, which I have found to be the best for the game. Nice quality guide altogether.

I found the guide to FF5 superficial at best. There is info on characters' abilities and stats. The guide doesn't tell you where to find weapons/items/magic and doesn't give you a good world map. You can find all the info you need on the internet. Don't waste your money.

Although FFA was superbly done, this guide leaves...something to be desired. There wasn't much space devoted to character stats, and the mpas could have been presented in a better way. Overall, though, this guide will get you thourgh FFA, without giving away ALL of the plot, and giving you many of the secrets needed for mini-games, etc. A must buy for a FF fan, but not for many other people.

If found this guide very superficial. It's amazing that in Japan they have about 400 pages doveted to FFV alone while we get about 240 superficial pages for both 5 and 6. This book answers all the easy questions but is vague on many things that it should give more detail for. The beasitary is terrible for FFV. But what are you gonna do? This is the only guide available
