5Forget the keyboard...this is the only gamepad you will ever use!!!  Nov 03, 2007 By crow11ad
Like many of you, I have been using a regular keyboard for years ever since games required you to use the arrow keys. Playing COD, many people are good just using the keyboard, but I wanted an edge. I got this gamepad after trying the wolf king gamepad. That thing is too big and too many buttons to use. So I returned it and got this one.

The best thing about this game pad is there is no software required and Windows recognizes like nothing else. All the buttons are programmable within the game(s). There are 2 side buttons that when pressed have a blue lcd lights shining. These are mainly for show as the ganepad does not have back lit key lighting. The WASD keys are big. The one difference you will notice is that the keys on the keyboard and the buttons on the game pad. Since the the keyboard's keys are all the same size and the game pad have a bigger WASD, you may have to re customize some of the keys within your game...I normally use (when using a keyboard) the c to crouch. I changed that to the X for the gamepad and got used to it very quicky.

Another great feature is the wrist pad that is attached. It helps with long sessions of gaming. The only thing bad I can say is that after 3 days the lights started going out on the game pad. Cyber Snipa has a great policy from the date of purchase you have 1 year and they will replace it. I emailed them and they sent me a replacement. The one had the lights working, but then 1 light on the side would not work...No big deal, but I contacted them again and they sent me a new one...The new one had the lights working, but when plugged into the usb and turning on the pc, it would not boot up all the way and I had to unplug the game pad for the pc to boot up and plug in the gamepad back in. That was annoying. So I sent back the 2 I received and kept the original...

Pros....best thing ever.
Will take about a week to get used to, but then you will not be able to go back to a normal keyboard...Trust me this is a major plus.
Great wrist pad
Buttons feel natural

Cons....Lights may go out

If you want the edge and people who used to beat you all the time start to question you and even accuse of you cheating (which I take as a compliment), don't hesitate, get this, you will not be sorry.

2Get a better gameboard; tried to like it for two years  Oct 22, 2011 By Mark S. Johnson "Nobodo"
Like the title says I've had my Cyber Snipa game pad for two years. The butterfly keys are good for movement, but the rest of the keyboard is a pain in the neck. The keys that are there are poorly place and oddly shaped; to this day there are almost none of them that I can hit reliably without looking at the keypad. There are also keys missing that are commonly needed in games and sometimes cannot be remapped (enter key, for example). I thought when I bought it that the keys not being programmable would not be a problem since I could rebind them in games, but many games refuse to rebind the number keys and the F keys, so there really isn't anything left to rebind. For many games I end up using a mouse, Cyber Snipa, and a regular keyboard for the keys that can't be used on the Snipa.

On the good side, after two years of use the keys all still work. I didn't have the problem that others have reported of the LED lights going out. However, I actually just now turned the LEDs on to check to see if they worked; for the past two years I have always had them turned off. The placement of the LEDs does not assist you to see the keys on the keypad, and I have been glad that they could be turned off since they really serve no purpose and are very annoying.

I now have a Logitech G13 gameboard to replace the Cyber Snipa, which will be going to Goodwill in a few days and won't be missed. Hasta la vista, baby.

Mark.

4Cyber Snipa Game Pad V2 Review  Sep 09, 2009 By Mr. Ecclectikat
For PC gamers like myself who have difficulty enjoying game play using your keyboard QWERTY or WASD keys for movement, this is a must have for you. The Cyber Snipa Game Pad V2 is a quick study. Just plug it into an open USB and it's ready for use. The gamepad key setup is configured so your attention can be on the game and not having to look at the keyboard to insure you are pushing the correct keystroke. (remember pushing the Z key instead of the S key and getting fragged!) All the essential keys for a first person shooter are there including the important hotkeys. I've found it equally simple for role playing games too, which was the key reason I purchased the game pad. My only complaint is that you're not able to configure the game pad to your specific needs, but even lacking that ability I still highly recommend adding the Cyber Snipa Game Pad V2 to your gaming arsenal.

5Faster than a keyboard. Great Pad!  Jan 21, 2010 By D. Schroder
Greatest gaming pad I ever played on. I had an older one, one of the first I think. It too was awesome. Lasted about 2 years and I beat it up really good. A couple of the most used buttons began to fail but for 2 years and a hard workout, It was great. The new one now has a few more buttons which is even better. It takes a couple of days to get the hang of not having your fingers squeezed together as on regular keyboard. This pad really gives your hand freedom. It adds so many more functions and makes everything faster to get to. I am very pleased with this product and recommend it to any gamer.

1Dissatisfied Customer  Feb 09, 2012 By Amazon customer
This game pad was not a good purchase for me as it did not meet my expectations in terms of quality or function. It doesn't have a solid feel and in my opinion the product is cheaply made, but its durability is yet to be determined. The butterfly keys are good for movement but they tend to stick at times and all the keys seem to require significant pressure to activate and can be unresponsive as a result. In my experience the keys are poorly placed ergonomically, with the result that either the incorrect key is struck or two keys are stuck simultaneously leading to no response for that key strike. If you have large hands you may hate this product! Reprogramming does not work with all games so it just leads to frustration and continually having to look at the key pad. Other reviewers have addressed the programming issues so be sure to read those reviews. If you are buying this to use with EEC you may be disappointed. Overall rating - Not Recommended.

A note on shipping. If your mailing address is outside the U.S. it may cost you more to receive this device (and its associated frustrations) than the product costs. Don't be fooled by the shipping and handling costs cited at the time of your purchase, you may receive a similar bill from the shipper who 'advances' the product in your home country. Also don't be fooled by the notice about Customs, Duties and Taxes. My tax was insignificant, four dollars and change, but Fed-Ex charged an additional delivery fee which I thought was covered by the hefty S&H fee I paid at the time of purchase on the Amazon site. VirtualSim, the company from which the product came, and Amazon Marketplace were not sympathetic, so caveat emptor.

Update: Upon speaking with Fed-Ex about the issue they promptly adjusted the invoice to remove the 'advancement fee'...Cheers for Fed-Ex... Jeers for VirtualSim and Amazon.
