Want to get the best weapons and armors for everyone of those characters? Well this guide tells you want you need to forge those rare items into awesome weapons and armors. Enough said, this guide tells you everything you need to know about the game, beastiary, detailed weapons and armors list, detailed full color map for both the worlds, and much much more. With this guide you can also find out how to meet some oldies from the prequel Chrono Trigger too!! And who could forget the feature that excited every RPG gamers out there, the New Game +. This guide will tell you what new stuff is there in the game when you do get this feature, oh yeah, it tells you how to get it too. Have fun with the game with this awesome strategy guide!! =)

Chrono Cross Rocks The Cogs Of Fate! Aug 18, 2000
By Nik Crapo This is a really good book to use if you are stuck during the game. I have used it in times when I was stuck. It even helped me find all of the characters and tell me all the endings and how to obtain them. If you are looking for a great game and the book, well my friends look no more because this is one of the best games and book, I have ever had. I have been waiting for this game for about 5 years and I know all of you have since Chrono Trigger! So to all of you reading this, go out and by this game and guide! Have Fun!

An Excellent Guide! Good Work BradyGames! Jan 27, 2003 First of all, the game's layout is just beautiful. Lots of artwork, screenshots to help you out, and full-colour maps. The walkthrough is rather good, (even though you keep having to flip to the back for the maps) The boss tips are right on, and all the items you can find are listed as well as enemy info and pictures. Info on New Game+ is also included (though i did notice a few things missing..) Also, all the characters, the specials, and info on how to recruit them is listed flawlessly. This game isn't difficult (and a guide isn't needed to beat the game) but if you're a completist, and want to get everything there is to get in Chrono Cross, this guide has everything you need.

Everything you need to know Jan 01, 2001 I purchased Chrono Cross awhile back on an online auction site. The seller wanted to sell me the guide with the game too, so I reluctantly accepted. I like to figure out games for myself, so I figured I could just sell the guide after receiving it. That was the plan . . . but once I looked over the guide, well, I knew it had a home. The guide is very complete, it has lots of nice charts for weapons, armor, and enemies and menus, the most useful charts being those that told how to get the characters' level 7 tech skills. As much as I would like to think I am the perfect game player, well . . . there is no crazy way I could've found all of those tech skills on my own. There is a good selection of maps toward the back, too. There isn't any overworld map though (overworld meaning a big map of the whole land, but it isn't all that much trouble getting around without it). Oh yes, it also tells you how to get all of the different endings. That's a definite plus; some of the endings are mediocre, but others of the endings are downright awesome. In summary, it is completely possible to beat the game without the guide. But the guide helps the reader explore many of the intricacies, such as various sidequests, adding to the length and richness of the game. Any gripes? The guide does have the occasional minor misprint (but so does every guide), and it often elaborates excessively on how to beat the bosses, but other than that, it is solid. I highly recommend.

Chrono Cross Mar 21, 2001
By Matt This is a great guide. It tells where just about everything is, and when to get it. The maps are helpful, and items are shown on the map. There are a few minor mistakes in the guide, but anyone can easily figure out what to do. The mistakes are little ones, like a missing tresure chest on the map, or a forgotten step in the walkthrough. Items to get are listed at the beginning of each section, and they are highlighted in bold when you can get them. Also, it reveals how to get every character, without revealing too much of the plot. I think that this is the only guide for this game, but if you need a good guide, buy this one anyway.
